Nicole from Netbok News is apparently spending some time in the Philippines, and she’s been spending some time checking out some of the netbooks available there, including:

  • Suzuki Neutron 1001 QN – $400 netbook with an Atom N270 CPU, 10.1″ display, a SIM card slot, a decent keyboard, and a touchpad with buttons awkwardly placed on the left and right sides
  • Neo Vivid 1101 – 8.9″ netbook with a small touchpad and no shift key on the right side and a glossy lid, but non-glare screen
  • Minix UNOTE M1000 – $300 netbook w/10.1 inch screen, and no operating system
  • QUBE M1: 10 inch netbook with a 3 cell battery for 17,00 Philippine pesos, or about $367 (although Nicole mistakenly converts it to $175 US).
